Saturday, July 30, 2011, we had lunch at Swadley's, 308 East State Hwy 152, Mustang, OK. This is only the second time eating at a Swadley's. The employees at this restaurant are awesome. NICOLE was the person who rang us up. She was helpful, friendly, and professional. HUNTER was our server. He was also helpful, friendly, and professional. We had the True Sampler, which is a sampling of all of their meats, absolutely delicious, the best tasting ribs I have ever had, plus I had a One-Trip Salad Bar. Let's see if I can remember all of the meat: Ribs, spicy sausage, regular sausage, pulled pork, brisket, smoked turkey. There may have been other meat, but I'm not sure.
If you like a fresh salad with your meal, then this is the place to be. I LOVE salad, and their salad ingredients are all very fresh, a nice variety of veggies to put on your salad, as well as pasta salad, cottage cheese, chunks of chicken, large yummy croutons, crackers, etc.
Aside from the wonderful tasting food, the service is spot on. At this restaurant you order your food at the counter, and then you are given a number and you sit down. We weren't sitting for 1 minute when HUNTER came to the table to get us some pickles, peppers, etc. I don't think we waited longer than 8-10 minutes for our food. HUNTER was close by whenever we needed him, and he was always watching to see if we needed anything, without hovering. The decor is welcoming, cool antiques, visually stimulating, lots to look at while you wait for your meal. The bathrooms are very nice and spotless.
To top off your dining experience, you get a vanilla ice cream with your meal, so save some room as the ice cream is creamy, fresh, and delicious! We'll be eating at Swadley's every chance we get.
